The Role
Inland Mechanical Pty Ltdis seeking ahighly competent Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Motor Mechanicto join our team based inNaval Base, WA.
This is a full-time, hands-on role working across a diverse fleet of heavy vehicles and equipment.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, while managing your own jobs from start to finish.
⚠️This position is strictly for WA-based candidates (Perth preferred).
Interstate and overseas applications will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and associated systems
Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance across a varied fleet
Accurately diagnose faults and resolve issues efficiently
Complete transparent and accurate job reports and documentation
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Communicate effectively with team members and management
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
What We're Looking For
Australian recognised Trade Qualification (Heavy Diesel / HV Mechanic or similar)
Minimum 2+ years post trade experiencein heavy vehicle maintenance and repair




Strong diagnostic ability – able to fault find without relying on constant supervision
Experience across a range of heavy vehicles and diesel equipment
Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
Reliable, punctual, and consistent
Strong communication skills and professional attitude
Current Driver's Licence
