What is the Information Evening?
Rather than asking you to apply for a job immediately, we're inviting you to attend an informal evening at our Head Office where you'll:
Learn what a Commercial Construction Apprenticeship really involves.
Understand why our apprenticeship is different from traditional residential carpentry apprenticeships.
Meet our team, hear from our experienced site staff.
Learn about real career pathways within North.
Learn about the mentoring, coaching and development we provide.
Ask questions in a relaxed setting.
Parents, guardians and family members are encouraged to attend.
Following the Information Evening, attendees who are interested in future apprenticeship opportunities with North will be encouraged to apply and will be provided with information about when applications for the next apprenticeship intake open.
More Than a Carpentry Apprenticeship
Our apprenticeship is designed to develop future commercial construction leaders—not just qualified carpenters. Alongside a nationally recognised Carpentry Apprenticeship, you'll receive structured mentoring, leadership development and hands-on experience across all aspects of commercial construction. You'll work on award-winning projects,



gain exposure to multiple trades, modern construction technologies, safety and quality systems, and learn alongside experienced supervisors and project managers. With dedicated support, employee wellbeing programs and clear career pathways, you'll build the skills and confidence to progress into future leadership roles such as Leading Hand, Site Supervisor, Site Manager or Project Manager.
