About the Role
As our Centre Chef, you will:
Plan and prepare nutritious, delicious meals and snacks for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
Cater for a variety of dietary requirements, allergies and cultural preferences.
Maintain a clean, organised and compliant commercial kitchen.
Manage food ordering, stock control and kitchen budgets.
Ensure all food safety, hygiene and nutrition standards are met.
Work closely with our educators to create positive mealtime experiences for children.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience working as a chef, cook or in commercial food preparation.
Is passionate about children's health and nutrition.
Has excellent organisational and time management skills.




Understands food safety requirements and kitchen compliance.
Can work independently while being a valued member of the centre team.
Brings a positive, reliable and friendly attitude to work each day.
Essential Requirements
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card (or ability to obtain before commencing).
Experience managing food allergies and special dietary requirements.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Available 4 to 5 days a week
