We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedAssistant Accountantto join our Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting graduate or someone currently working towards their accounting qualifications to gain broad exposure across accounting, payroll, accounts administration, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
Processing weekly payroll and maintaining employee time and attendance records.
Preparing and issuing weekly customer invoices and responding to customer enquiries.
Performing monthly bank reconciliations and preparing general ledger journals.
Assisting with month-end financial reporting and account reconciliations.
Supporting the preparation of quarterly BAS submissions.
Providing administrative support to the Finance team and broader business.
Assisting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as required.
Managing office supplies and general office administration duties.




Supporting special projects and undertaking ad hoc tasks as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline, or be currently studying towards such a qualification.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment and meet deadlines.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with MYOB or similar accounting software is advantageous but not essential.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
