Creative Learning and
Engagement Lead
Carclew is the home of youth arts and
creativity. It connects all children and young people to a world of
creative
possibilities, as artists, learners and
audiences. As Australia's largest multi-artform cultural
institution dedicated to children and young people, Carclew is a
vital part of Australia's youth arts and arts
sector.
Carclew, with a more than 50-year
legacy, works to amplify and elevate the youth arts sector across
Adelaide, South Australia and
nationally.
We're looking for an
experienced
Creative
Learning and Engagement Lead (ASO6, 1.0
FTE)
to join our
Creative Programs and Pathways team. If you are passionate about
supporting children and young people through arts and cultural
participation and enjoy leading creative
programs, people and partnerships, we'd love to
hear from you.
As
our
Creative
Learning and Engagement Lead
, you will lead the delivery of Carclew's creative learning
and engagement programs, creating accessible and high-quality
opportunities that connect children and young people
with art, artists and creative practitioners.
Working collaboratively with schools,
communities, artists and colleagues, you will help ensure
participants and stakeholders have positive and well-supported
experiences.
You will lead the planning, delivery
and evaluation of creative learning programs and initiatives,
oversee program operations, artist
engagement, budgets and reporting, and provide leadership
and support to Program Coordinators. While the role has a primary
focus on creative learning and engagement, it contributes across
Carclew's broader Creative Programs and Pathways portfolio,
supporting organisational priorities and continuous
improvement.
You will bring experience leading
arts, education or community engagement programs,
together with strong organisational, project management
and people leadership skills. You enjoy working with
artists and creative practitioners, building
positive relationships and delivering engaging,
high-quality creative experiences for children and young
people.
Whether you are leading programs,
supporting artists or guiding your team, your contribution will
help create meaningful creative opportunities for children and
young people across South Australia.
This is a public sector position
offered for an initial term of two
years.
