Your opportunity.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Maintainer to join our Regional Assets North, Wayside Systems team based at our Cairns depot.
As a Systems Maintainer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the protected and reliable operation of Queensland Rail's mechanical signalling equipment. Based within a skilled, multidisciplinary signalling team, you'll support a broad region stretching from Cairns and Kuranda, and as far south as Townsville to St Lawrence.
To be considered you must hold a Certificate III in Mechanical Rail Signalling and a current open driver's licence.
Purpose that Counts.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical signalling equipmentAssisting with maintenance and repair of standby generator plantsEnsuring all work is carried out in line with WH&S; standardsAccurately completing administrative and record-keeping tasksContributing to the improvement of existing work procedures and practicesReporting on completed tasks against scheduled maintenance plans

9 day fortnight - Monday to Friday with every second Friday off (3 day weekend)You can expect an annual salary of between $90,000 - $100,000 + *****% super (dependant on quals & experience)Travel on paid work time including expensesPaid training and support to develop your experienceAll PPE & uniform supplied
