The Opportunity

We have a permanent ongoing opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Anglican Care aged care CA Brown Lodge - Booragul.

You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level, participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person-centred care. Your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.

Shifts available

Week 1

Role & Responsibilities:

Experience in palliative care, knowledge of AN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing peopleDemonstrated experience in leadership of employeesExcellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsCurrent Drivers Licence

About you?

Registered Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Proven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individual. Current Senior First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
