The Mount Helena Tavern is a looking for a passionate qualified chef to join our historic Perth hills pub. We're a family operated venue based in the heart of Mount Helena.
Our concept is easy, we serve tasty food with high standards. We're seeking someone who can offer their own individual flare whilst working in our quick paced busy kitchen, alongside our current team of Chefs. Our venue has a special feel about it, being voted into Triple M's top 3 'Best Pubs in Perth' competition. We have competed in the AHA Best Steak Sandwich competition in recent years, including making the final cook off in ****. In **** we were featured in the West Australian as well as on Perth Now.
We have a casual and/or full-time salaried positions available for the right candidates based on experience and compatibility.
What we're looking for:

Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a chef or chef de partie role.

Commitment:
We're looking someone who's ready to become a part of The Mounties family, who's in it for the long haul.

Excellent work ethic:
Someone who's looking for 35+ hours a week, including nights and weekends, with the ability to multitask whilst working in a fast paced environment.

Transport:
As we are located in Perth Hills, your own transportation is required

Effective communication:
Communication is key and an essential part of working in a team environment.

Someone who wants to get creative and design specials, menus and everything in between.
