Job DescriptionThe Program Support Officer is responsible for providing and coordinating program administration support within a designated Program cluster. The role will provide expert administrative support to the Deputy Head of School (Learning and Teaching), and to Program Directors for program development, review and renewal, making a key contribution to the effective delivery of programs in accordance with University policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:Provide expert support for program development, review, and renewalMake a key contribution to the effective delivery of programsContribute to student engagement and retentionDeliver high quality student experiences by providing expert responses to more complex program enquiriesContribute to business improvement initiatives and work practice changesBe a member of a supportive, innovative and responsive academic administration team
About youTo be successful in this role, you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications and subsequent relevant experience.
In addition to the above, you will demonstrate:The ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and systems consistentlyHigh level analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in the development and implementation of innovative strategies,
solutions and business process improvementStrong organisational skills in the planning, development, implementation, operation and review of programs and coursesStrong computer skills across a variety of platformsExcellent attention to detailHighly developed interpersonal and written communication skillsThe ability to exercise initiative, discretion and judgement on complex and sensitive issues

These positions can be based at either our Gold Coast or Logan location. As Griffith is a multi-site University, you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University's campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary RangeThe full-time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 6 range $94,966 - $101,295 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $111,110 - $118,515 per annum.
