Carpenter – Building Maintenance
$35–$45 per hour | Full-Time | Immediate Start
Langton Property Services is a medium-sized building maintenance company based in Adelaide, looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team for an immediate start.
This role offers a great mix of hands-on trade work, quoting, and office-based responsibilities. We're looking for someone with experience in building maintenance and/or insurance repairs who has strong communication skills and can confidently manage jobs from start to finish.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm), with a variety of work across the Adelaide metropolitan area.
We work predominantly with South Australia's largest property managers, completing everything from day-to-day maintenance repairs through to full renovations across their rental portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out carpentry and general building maintenance works
Prepare quotes and assist with estimating jobs
Manage and coordinate trades where required
Complete quality checks to ensure works meet company standards
Liaise with clients, property managers and tenants
Provide general operational and office support
Work independently while also contributing to a small, supportive team
About You
Qualified Carpenter with a current Trade Licence
White Card
Current driver's licence
Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
Experience quoting maintenance works
Basic IT and computer skills
Strong work ethic with excellent time management
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Experience in building maintenance and/or insurance repairs is highly regarded
Experience in managing subcontractors is an advantage
