About the Role
Working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team, you'll be responsible for the electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of a large fleet of heavy mining equipment. Your work will directly contribute to maximising equipment reliability, safety and operational performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on heavy mining equipment
Performing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
Conducting inspections, testing and electrical diagnostics
Completing breakdown repairs and component replacements
Installing,



maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems and accessories
Completing maintenance documentation and work orders accurately
Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
Working collaboratively with fellow tradespeople while maintaining a strong safety focus
About You
You're a qualified Auto Electrician with a passion for maintaining heavy equipment and delivering quality workmanship.
To be successful, you'll have:
Australian recognised Trade Qualification as an Auto Electrician
Experience maintaining heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (Air Conditioning Ticket)
Current Queensland Driver Licence
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
A proactive approach to safety and teamwork
Commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance outcomes
