Client Care Officer (Casual) - Immediate Start
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and motivated Client Care Officer to join our team. In this rewarding role, you'll support people living with disability and mental health conditions needs to live with dignity, independence and choice within a welcoming community environment.
Experience working in Aged Care and/or Residential Care will be highly desirable

Hours & Roster
Rotating roster including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
Flexible and able to work across a 24/7 roster
About the Role
As a Client Care Officer, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each resident's needs, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, showering, grooming, oral care, dressing and undressing.
Toileting and continence support
Administering medications
Deliver care in line with individual care plans and programs
Maintain accurate progress and case notes
Assist with domestic duties including cleaning, laundry and maintaining residents' living environments.
Assist residents with transport and community participation
Support internal and external social and recreational activities
Build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, families and allied health professionals.
Identify and report risks while actively contributing to improved resident outcomes.
About You
You are:
Compassionate, respectful and patient
Passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals
Reliable, flexible and able to work a rotating roster
A confident communicator with robust written and verbal skills
Organised and able to work independently and within a team
Interested in supporting residents to participate in community activities such as gardening, cooking or caring for animals (desirable)
Essential Requirements (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
Current NDIS Worker Clearance
Current National Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR (CPR must be updated annually)
Medication Administration Certificate
Full working rights in Australia
COVID-19 vaccination in line with current guidelines
Manual handling training
Restrictive Practice Certificate
Food Safety certificate
NDIS Orientation Module
NDIS Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals
Reliable smartphone with internet access for recording progress notes
Desirable Requirements
Previous experience working in Aged Care and/or Residential Care
Current South Australian Driver's Licence
Reliable car or able to drive company van
Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance (if using own vehicle)
If you don't currently hold all required qualifications, we are happy to support the successful applicant to complete the necessary training prior to, or shortly after, commencement where appropriate.
