Support Workers to support clients in
Townsville.
About Your New Role
As a valued member of the Open Minds team, you will provide support to clients with disabilities and complex support needs. Working across our In-Home and Community Access Services, you will play an important role in creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment while helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life. This role includes a rotating roster across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts.
About You
Experience supporting people with psychosocial disabilities, mental health challenges, or disability support needs
Confident providing personal care and manual handling support, including the use of mobility aids and hoists (highly desirable)
Understanding of working with clients who have complex support needs (highly desirable)
Friendly, outgoing, and empathetic approach to supporting others
Strong communication skills and ability to complete case notes and documentation accurately
Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including sleepovers and early mornings

Requirements
Current Open Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Comprehensive vehicle insurance
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Previous experience in disability support, mental health, or community services
