Grindels Plumbing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team at the Nifty Copper Mine on an
8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth
.
This is an
initial short-term contract
supporting village and camp maintenance, with the
potential for extension
based on operational requirements and performance. You'll carry out a mix of preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring essential plumbing services remain reliable across accommodation and site facilities.

About the Role
As a Maintenance Plumber, your responsibilities will include:
Reactive and preventative plumbing maintenance
Diagnosing and repairing water, sewer and drainage systems
Maintenance of hot water systems, pumps, valves and fixtures
General plumbing repairs throughout accommodation camps and site facilities
Blocked drains and drainage investigations
Installation and replacement of plumbing fixtures and pipework
Completing work orders using electronic maintenance systems




Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety
Working in accordance with site procedures and Australian Standards
Participating in toolbox meetings and safety initiatives
About You
To be successful you will have:
WA Plumbing Tradesperson Licence
Current Australian Driver's Licence (Manual preferred)
White Card
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Excellent communication skills
Commitment to workplace safety
Highly Regarded

First Aid Certificate
Previous FIFO camp or mining maintenance experience
