Accounts Payable - Full Time Permanent Role
Role is Geelong Based – Australia and New Zealand Wholesale & Retail Apparel Operations (trading as Stage II, Edge Clothing, Elm Colour Your Lifestyle & All About Eve Clothing)
The Stage II Group has a stable of well-known clothing brands, over 600 wholesale customers and a growing presence of +100 retail stores which focus on both contemporary lifestyle and youth fashion. It has offices throughout Australia and New Zealand, with it's Head Office located in Geelong, Victoria.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team! You should be able to work autonomously, using your organisational skills to manage your office space and your time, as you will collaborate with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Duties for the role include, but are not limited to:
Supplier invoices are processed accurately and within agreed credit terms.
Raise EFT / BPAY payments weekly (and urgent payments outside this routine), with appropriate evidence to support.
Check accuracy of Accounts Payable Invoices
Input and code invoices to correct cost centres
Monitoring accounts payable to ensure supplier payments are up to date
Update and maintain vendor database
Other tasks as required
Requirement:
Exceptional attention to detail skills
High level of data input accuracy - ensuring the invoice details are correctly analysed regarding G/L account cost allocation and treatment of GST.
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role (ideally 5+ years)
Ability to meet deadlines, in particular month end
Versatile; to be able to cover short-term assistance to other Finance functions.
Fantastic phone manner to ensure every interaction with suppliers and staff alike are excellent
Valuable communication skills
