Gross = $1,******

This is a
full-time position

You will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of quality and craftsmanship that define our business, whilst contributing to our reputation as a trusted local butcher.
Key responsibilities
As a Trade qualified Butcher,



your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Preparing, cutting and processing high-quality meat products to precise specifications and industry standards
Maintaining strict hygiene and food safety protocols in line with health and safety regulations
Creating specialty cuts and customised orders to meet customer requirements
Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained
Assisting with stock management, rotation and ordering of supplies
Providing excellent customer service and advice on meat selection and preparation
Displaying and merchandising products attractively to promote sales
Contributing to a clean, organised and efficient working environment
Supporting the broader team to maintain business operations and quality standards
What we're looking for
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Current or completed
formal butchery trade qualification
recognised in Australia
Proven experience working as a qualified butcher in a professional butchery or food preparation environment
Strong knowledge of meat cuts, quality grades and processing techniques
Demonstrated commitment to food safety, hygiene and health and safety compliance
Physical capability to perform the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items




Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality products
Reliable, professional attitude with a strong work ethic
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Experience in a retail or customer-facing butchery environment is highly valued
