We are seeking an experienced and skilled Practice Coordinator/Team Leader with a minimum of 3 years' experience to help grow our new practice and create strong foundations to build our patient base. The ideal candidate is passionate about oral health and dedicated to the smooth daily operations of our practice. Our Team Leader will be the backbone of the clinic, managing the appointment book, liaising with patients and practitioners, chairside assisting for a wide range of treatment with our clinicians and maintaining the flow of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the practice runs smoothly day-to-day, ensuring all sterilisation, protocols and clinical procedures are followed daily.
Chairside assisting for a wide range of treatments with our clinicians, including room changeover.
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding appointments, payment plans, treatment planning and clinic operations.




Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Take initiative and be proactive in managing daily tasks and challenges.
Assist our General Managers with the coordination of employee rosters and shift requirements using our online systems Teams.
Support and work collaboratively with AI protocols to ensure the practice's daily operations run efficiently.
Overseeing the general cleanliness and maintenance of the practice.

Desired Qualities
Robust understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
3+ years of dental assisting experience.
Lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a solutions-oriented approach.
Exceptional organisation and multi-tasking skills

Team player who leads by example and takes pride in their work.
Comfortable resolving conflicts and handling confrontations when necessary.
Bubbly, outgoing, and able to maintain a positive clinic atmosphere.
Proficiency in dental practice management software (Experience with Carestack is highly desirable but not essential)
Assertive and efficient in managing outbound calls and tasks.
The initial training for this position will be conducted with our senior staff at one of our other clinics for the first initial weeks before transitioning to our Glenferrie Road location.
