Site Supervisor (FIFO 2:2)
Ready to grow your leadership skills while staying close to the tools?
At
Dredge Robotics
, we're not your typical FIFO outfit.
We're a tight-knit team of problem-solvers using world-first robotic technology to clean critical water assets across mining, government, industrial, manufacturing, processing and wastewater sites – all while assets stay online and our clients save serious downtime.
We run on low ego, high ownership. Flat structure, open doors, and plenty of room for the right person to step up, have a say, and shape how we work.
And right now, we're looking for Site Supervisors who are ready for more than just "another swing".
Why this role, why now?
This is ideal for someone who:
Has been a Leading Hand or Supervisor and is ready to step fully into that leadership space
Still enjoys being hands on, the practical side of the work, but wants to plan, lead and grow, not just be on the tools all day
Likes smaller, close-knit teams – but is ready for a bigger scope of responsibility
Wants variety: no two swings look the same – new sites, new states, current clients, new challenges
Is thinking about their long-term career, not just the next job
In early **** we launched our Leadership Academy, giving our Supervisors structured development, coaching and support. It's a perfect time to join if you want to grow with the business.
The role – what you'll be doing
On a
2:2 FIFO roster from Perth
, you'll lead small remote field teams to safely deliver robotic dredging projects across different sites and industries.
Day to day, you'll:
Lead, mentor and support your crew on site
Be the key link between clients, project managers and the team – setting expectations and keeping everyone aligned
Oversee maintenance, quality and integrity of plant and equipment – including vehicle loading cranes, HR trucks, trailers and electrical equipment (CCTV, flowmeters, water treatment rigs)
Set up site gear – pumps,
pipes and associated equipment
Operate and monitor our remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) – full training provided
Carry out basic maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on electric, hydraulic and mechanical systems
Work at heights as required (e.g. tank platforms)
Complete computer-based reporting, daily safety checks and documentation
You won't be micromanaged. You'll be trusted to run your site, make decisions and own the outcome – with solid support behind you.
What you bring
We know not everyone ticks every box – if you're close and keen, we want to hear from you.
You'll likely have:
S26 (Schedule 26)
HR-B truck licence
Rigging (preferred) or Dogging
Working Safely at Heights
First Aid
Construction Induction White Card
Demonstrated experience as a Supervisor or Leading Hand in remote and/or heavy industry environments
A calm, methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
Strong focus on safety, quality and client relationships
Physically fit and able to work in field environments
Electrical or mechanical trade qualification (highly regarded)
Ability to plan and prioritise tasks on site and keep things moving
If you've come from mining, plant operations, dewatering, water treatment or similar environments – even better.
The perks
Work on cutting-edge robotic technology – genuinely first of its kind
Be part of a growing R&D-driven; business with exciting projects in the pipeline
Competitive hourly rate
Super paid on all hours
All hours worked are paid – 12-hour days with paid lunch breaks
2:2 FIFO roster providing real work-life balance
Development opportunities, including our Leadership Academy
As part of the recruitment process, you'll complete pre-employment screening, including a medical, working rights check and police clearance.
At Dredge Robotics, we value diversity and provide an inclusive environment for all employees. We encourage applications from all nationalities, genders and cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
