Role & Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Residential Care Manager, ensuring appropriate allocation of skilled team members to Resident care needs and effective orientating and 'buddying' of new employees, supporting team members in all aspects of their work,
Administer medication under the delegation and supervision of the Registered Nurse
Contribute to the clinical care of consumers including maintenance of clinical records.
About you?
Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent
Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to accurately document residents' care/progress
