Job Description
Wika Australia Pty Limited WIKA Australia are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Instrumentation Calibration Technician to join our Perth Laboratory team. The successful candidate will be involved in both in-house and on-site calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various instrumentation and equipment in compliance with ISO/IEC ***** standards. The role requires an in-depth understanding of calibration procedures, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, and a demonstrable understanding of industrial pressure and temperature instrumentation, combined with meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, including certificates and reports.
Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation as needed to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with clients to schedule and perform calibration services at their facilities. Ensure all calibration equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding calibration procedures and best practices.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during calibration activities. Continuously update knowledge and skills related to calibration techniques and industry standards.
Qualification & experience Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience in calibration of industrial pressure and temperature instrumentation, both in-house and on-site. Certification or relevant training from a recognised calibration or metrology organisation. Solid understanding in ISO/IEC ***** and NATA calibration procedures is required.
Good technical knowledge of various types of instrumentation and calibration equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using calibration software and tools, including excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites if required.
Preferred Qualifications: Post graduate degree in a related field e.g., Engineering, Electronics, Metrology. Previous experience working in a calibration lab accreditation to ISO/IEC ***** is highly regarded. Experience with calibration management software.
