About the Role
Are you passionate about maintaining and operating power facilities? We're seeking an experienced Operator Maintainer Electrical/I+C to join our team at Kemerton Power Station, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and reliability. Located 30 km north of Bunbury, WA, Kemerton Power Station is a gas-fired peaking facility equipped with Siemens V94.2 gas turbines. This position features a Monday to Friday schedule, with a 38-hour work week and on-call duties. A vehicle is included as part of the package.

This role sits within in our Power Services division which provides operations and maintenance services to over 30 power generation assets across Australia. Guided by our vision – working together to deliver a sustainable and low-carbon energy future – SPIE Power Services is a leading asset management partner for complex and critical infrastructure.

What you'll do
Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
Ensure all work is conducted safely and complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
Drive a positive HSE culture and support new safety initiatives.
Liaise with team members to identify long-term plant reliability issues and prioritise maintenance activities.
Act as a Permit to Work (PTW) Officer when required.
Conduct site inductions and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Document activities and maintain accurate records in relevant systems.
Participate in continuous improvement programs, identifying opportunities to enhance safety and productivity.
What you'll have
Trade qualification and experience in the disciplines to be supervised.
HV Switching
Instrumentation training
Gas fitter training/Supervised Gas Fitting
Hazardous area training
Previous experience in the power industry or similar heavy industry.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite,



SAP, DCS systems).
Proven ability to prioritise and organise tasks effectively.
Knowledge of HSE legislation and a proactive approach to safety.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
Able to nominate as Electrical Nominee.
Demonstrated problem solving and fault-finding skills.
A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a small, dedicated team.
