Join Inventorium Academy Ltd and support inclusive education for diverse learners when our new Special Assistance School opens fully in July. We are seeking a caring Special Education Support Officer (SESO/SSO) to collaborate with our innovative teaching team. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing essential support in our inclusive learning environment designed for those who may not thrive in mainstream settings.
What you'll do
Provide supportive guidance to students and collaborate with teachers to implement learning plans
Create and coordinate engaging group activities and learning projects
Support students' wellbeing and academic progress through personalised assistance
Maintain accurate records of student development and progress
Work collaboratively with families, teachers and specialist professionals
Foster an inclusive, welcoming and protected learning workplace
Participate in professional development and training opportunities
What you'll need




4+ years experience supporting diverse learners in an educational setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of inclusive education practices and student wellbeing
Experience with behaviour support and student engagement strategies
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Current Working with Children Check
Commitment to maintaining privacy and data security standards

The Inventorium Academy is our recent Special Assistance School that will open fully in July **** and provide a range of online and on-site learning experiences to students who need additional support to achieve their high school outcomes.
