Sandvik Mining Product Support Advisor – Cadia mine site I Orange, NSW
About the opportunityAs a key liaison between Sandvik and our contracted customer, you'll engage with stakeholders across all levels of the customer organisation. Your primary goal is to maximise the functionality and reliability of Sandvik equipment, while remaining mindful of operational costs. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer service by facilitating clear communication between Sandvik and our clients. This includes partnering closely with the customer's Maintenance Management Team to drive continuous improvement in equipment performance. This position is based from the customer site in Cadia, NSW. Roster: 9‐day fortnight; Monday – Friday roster (11 hour shifts).
Responsibilities
Managing the Service Support to accomplish the goals and objectives of the business.
Managing daily requirements and engaging the relevant departments of the business to provide a high level of customer service satisfaction.
Developing direct customer relationships.
Enhance existing Site Service by providing input into strategic plans for the continued expansion of the business.
Facilitation of coaching and mentoring of site technical staff.
Assist in root cause failure analysis.
Function as first line support for helpdesk issues & technical support in Sales Area.
Identify and support with continuous improvement initiatives.
Bulletin Administration and Support.
Assist Planning department in the optimisation of maintenance strategy development.
Collect technical feedback and provide feedback to Product Masters/ EQ Division Product line.
About you




A mechanical trade qualification or mechanical aptitude is essential for this role along with experience in underground mining. The ideal candidate will have a high level of initiative, drive and determination to achieve goals and targets set for customer satisfaction. Knowledge of Sandvik's underground equipment product lines would be a distinct advantage. Agencies need not apply. To be eligible for this role, you must have the right to live and work in Australia.
