Valley Park Farm is a locally owned Victorian business. Our first farm was established in the heart of one of Australia's most productive farming lands, the Goulburn Valley. Our three original sites are bordered by the Goulburn River on one side and
Great Dividing Range on the other. Expansion in **** saw the addition of a farm nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Strathbogie Ranges. An abundant fresh water natural spring carries life and nourishment to our free-range hens, where our farm began free range egg production in ****.
We are seeking highly skilled and effective Primary Products QA Inspector to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this position, you are responsible for ensuring that all primary products (raw materials and finished goods) and services consistently meet established safety and quality standards including regulatory requirements. This involves reviewing manufacturing process, test product performance, and driving process improvements.
You will oversee production activities, maintain and manage documentation, investigate non-conformities, and implement corrective actions to uphold compliance with industry standards. The primary goal is to stop faulty products from reaching the customer. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop, implement,
audit and monitor quality assurance procedures at farms and primary product processing facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards Check incoming raw materials to ensure they match company and vendor requirements before any production begins Ensure that hygiene standards are observed in storage, processing and packing facilities, and transport vehicles
Advise producers and processors on regulations related to grading, packing, processing and loading of products Testing samples of produce for quality, size and purity ensuring that required standards of hygiene are observed at storage, processing and packing facilities and in transport vehicles Inform producers and the general public of the health implications of diseases and impurities impacting primary products
Advise on the identi? cation of pests and diseases and on regulations pertaining to grading, packing and loading of products May monitor production requirements as they relate to food safety, biosecurity or quality assurance
Write detailed reports on inspections, failed items, and corrective steps To be considered for this role, you must have the following: Previous work experience in quality assurance or a similar field
Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards Good communication skills, both verbal and written
