About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator with 2-3 years of relevant experience in structural steel and light steel framing. This role is suited to someone who can independently prepare estimates while contributing to a team-oriented team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates for light gauge steel framing, structural steel fabrication and installation projects
Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Perform detailed quantity take-offs using take-off software




Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
Assist in preparing and submitting tenders within required timeframes
Identify cost efficiencies and support value engineering initiatives
Liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers during the tender process
Maintain estimating records and documentation
Provide quote opportunities update at sales meeting
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in estimating within structural steel, fabrication, or light steel framing
Good understanding of fabrication and on-site installation processes
Solid knowledge of the construction industry
Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings
Experience with take-off software (highly regarded)
Experience with CAD software (highly recommended)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating tools
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Valuable communication and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
