As the Production Supervisor on AM Shift, you will ensure smooth, safe and efficient production processes, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
This is a hands-on leadership position, where you'll guide and support your team to achieve production targets, meet safety and quality standards, and continuously improve processes.
AM Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm with rotating weekend's.
Responsibilities include
Supervise and lead a team to meet production goals
Ensure compliance is met across safety and food safety standards
Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary
Provide hands-on support to the team, fostering collaboration and productivity
Oversee training and development to build team capability
Manage resources effectively to meet deadlines and achieve efficiency targets
Report on production outcomes and escalate issues as required
You will bring to this role
Proven leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment
Experience in food production or meat processing is highly regarded
Excellent communication and team-building skills
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Computer literacy and experience with production systems are advantageous
Superior leadership skills, able to build rapport quickly and effectively to create a highly collaborative working environment
Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives including knowledge of 5S, Total Productive Manufacturing, LEAN/Six Sigma
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate cross functionally to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders
Ability to adapt in a dynamic business environment
