Role Description
The Heating Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Technician is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Melbourne Area. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Day-to-day tasks include conducting diagnostic tests, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and completing repairs in accordance with safety and regulatory standards. The technician will interact directly with clients to explain findings, recommend solutions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The role also involves accurate documentation of service activities,



adherence to company procedures, and collaboration with team members to deliver efficient and reliable project outcomes.
Qualifications
Ability to maintain strong Customer Satisfaction by communicating clearly, responding promptly, and providing professional service.
Proficiency in Troubleshooting HVAC and refrigeration systems, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
Knowledge of EPA regulations and environmental standards relevant to refrigerants and safe handling practices.
Skills in Maintenance & Repair of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment, including component replacement and system optimization.
Experience performing Preventive Maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, calibration, and performance testing to reduce equipment downtime.
Relevant trade qualification or certification in HVAC/Refrigeration or a related field.
Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites within the Greater Melbourne Area.
Capability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate service records.
