ABOUT THE ROLE
The People & Culture Manager leads the strategic and operational People & Culture function across Australia while supporting our growing United States operations.
Reporting to the
Chief Operating Officer,
you'll partner closely with the Leadership Team to develop and deliver people strategies that enable business growth, build leadership capability, attract exceptional talent and foster a high-performing, values-driven culture.
You'll lead a small People & Culture team comprising HR & Office Coordinators based on the Gold Coast and in Melbourne, providing coaching, support and direction while ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for our leaders and team members.
This is a true business partnering role where you'll influence strategic decision-making while remaining hands-on across the full team member lifecycle. You'll work closely with leaders across engineering, technology, operations and corporate functions in a fast-paced environment where innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration are part of everyday life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the Leadership Team to develop and execute the People & Culture strategy aligned with business objectives.
Provide strategic advice and coaching to leaders across organisational design, workforce planning, leadership capability and succession planning.




Lead talent attraction initiatives across Australia and the United States, ensuring we continue to attract and retain exceptional talent.
Develop and strengthen Stacked Farm's employer brand and team member value proposition.
Lead organisational development, culture and engagement initiatives that support a high-performing workplace.
Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, organisational change and employment legislation.
Lead annual remuneration reviews, performance review processes and talent development initiatives.
Oversee People & Culture compliance across multiple Australian states while supporting US employment practices, payroll and benefits administration.
Drive continuous improvement of People & Culture systems, policies, processes and reporting.
Develop meaningful people metrics and insights to support informed business decisions.
Lead, coach and develop the HR & Office Coordinators across our Gold Coast and Melbourne operations.
Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Ensure the accurate and compliant delivery of payroll across Australia and the United States, including processing payroll as required.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
Postgraduate qualifications (MBA, Masters or equivalent) highly regarded.
Minimum
10 years' experience
in Human Resources, including significant experience in senior HR leadership roles.
Demonstrated experience partnering with Leadership Teams to deliver strategic people outcomes.
Experience leading and developing People & Culture teams.
Proven success supporting multi-site, multi-state organisations.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing People & Culture strategies aligned with business objectives.
Extensive experience leading end-to-end talent acquisition across technical, engineering, operational and corporate functions.
Robust organisational development, leadership development and culture-building experience.
Extensive experience managing employee relations, investigations, organisational change and complex workplace matters.
Comprehensive knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations and HR best practice.
Experience supporting international workforces or organisations operating across multiple jurisdictions is highly desirable.
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
Payroll experience is desirable, including an understanding of Australian payroll legislation, taxation and superannuation. Exposure to US payroll or international payroll practices will be highly regarded.
Current Australian working rights.
Must be based on the Gold Coast
, with occasional travel to our Melbourne operations as required.
