Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This role will be responsible for co-ordinating the Planned Maintenance Programme, on the job problem solving, establishing and managing a Spare Parts and Tools Inventory and of course leading a cohesive, pro-active, Maintenance Team. The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a current Maintenance Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career, or maybe you are already in a Maintenance Manager position and looking for a recent challenge where you can apply your mechanical or electrical expertise.
As the successful applicant you will also work closely with the Production Team and Management Teams.
Oversee the maintenance function and solve maintenance related problems with a view of increasing asset life and ensuring minimal down time.
Prioritise, co-ordinate, schedule and allocate maintenance jobs to your team.
Attend breakdowns to troubleshoot,



fault find and minimise production delays.
Be part of the team and be involved in maintenance tasks, carry out daily/weekly/monthly inspections and safety checks.
Develop and manage a preventative maintenance schedule including accurate record keeping.
Developing and procuring Spare Parts inventory and Tools Register.
Lead and guide a small team, providing support, expertise, direction with a focus on a collaborative and inclusive culture.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 5 years maintenance/industry experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Trade qualification is essential – Electrical licence (A Grade) or Mechanical Fitter.
Minimum 2 years previous supervisory or management experience within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of PLC fault finding, machine automation and control systems would be desirable.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and fault finding with the ability to solve problems independently.
An ability to read drawings, specifications and instructions.
Excellent time management skills to manage competing work activities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with the team and key stakeholders.
Well developed administrative skills with experience using maintenance software e.g. MaintainX .
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Own transport and driver's licence essential.
Hours & Flexibility
Working hours are typically day hours, Monday to Friday. However, flexibility is required to provide coverage across both Early & Afternoon shifts if required. There may also be occasional weekend work or Callouts to support production.
