The Role:
· We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Tradesperson / Experienced Multiskilled Carpenter to work within the metropolitan area, northern and southern suburbs and local country areas within 75km of Adelaide.
Job Responsibilities:
· 1st & 2nd Fix Carpentry Works
· Wall & Ceiling Repairs
· Tiling & Paving Repairs
· Fence Repairs
· Roofing Repairs
· Demolition Works including 'Dirty' Works
· General Labour Works
· Minor Painting Works
· Cleaning Works
Working Environment:
· Ability to work in schools, hospitals, government buildings, commercial buildings, domestic sites and special needs facilities
· Ensure high standards of workmanship are maintained and that quality standards pertaining to trades services are met
· Ensures all work completed meets relevant legislative or industry standards
· Ensures the provision and maintenance of a high level of service to clients
· Provides a fast, yet efficient, service and quality of works in responsiveness to the demands and needs of our clients
· Ensures a safe and hazard free workplace environment by implementation of safety requirements and reporting any health and safety hazards.




· Understand and comply with our Work Health and Safety standards and policies at all times
· Effectively prioritise workloads and manages time to ensure all duties are completed within the required timeframes
· Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with management and staff and participate in meetings
· Demonstrate an ability to work well within a team environment and take on the responsibility of ensuring all work tasks are complete
· Offers support and assistance to other staff, workers and subcontractors
· Provide tools to undertake majority of the typical duties noted above
· Uses all equipment in accordance with procedures and instructions and maintains all equipment in a clean condition
· Undertake works in various project and maintenance tasks
· Ability to work 'Out of Business Hours' as and when required

Essential Requirements:
· Valid Unrestricted Drivers Licence
· White Card
· National Police Check
· Working with Children Clearance
Skills and Experience:
· Demonstrated min. 3yrs experience in general building maintenance and/or carpentry
· Working experience on Ventia sites is highly beneficial but not essential
· Good knowledge in technology such as iPads and Phones
· Experience in responding to repairs of carpentry related items
· Experience in using and good working knowledge of hand and power tools
· Seniors first aid certificate
(preferred but not essential)
