With a reputation for technical excellence and outstanding customer service, they are looking for an experienced Audio Technician to join their growing team.
Position Terms:
Permanent, full-time role
Salary: $80k-$100k plus super
The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Audio Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality audio solutions across a wide variety of live events. Working both independently and as part of a production team, you'll ensure audio systems are prepared, installed, operated and packed down safely while providing an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities include;
Set up, operate and pack down skilled audio systems for live events
Mix live audio for conferences, corporate events and special events
Configure wireless microphone and RF systems
Troubleshoot audio issues during live events
Read and interpret technical plans and event documentation
Assist with warehouse preparation and equipment maintenance
Lead small to medium production crews when required
Liaise with clients and project managers on-site
Maintain high safety standards and company presentation
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have experience working as an Audio Technician within the events industry. Strong knowledge of professional audio equipment and signal flow is essential for this role.
Experience operating digital mixing consoles
Excellent troubleshooting skills under pressure
Current Driver's Licence and White Card
Forklift, EWP or MR/HR Licence highly regarded
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required
Ability to travel for event delivery when required
