We are currently seeking a part time (3 days) Broadcast Technologist to join our team in the Melbourne Office!
This is a fun and exciting role that will be looking after some of Australia's largest radio shows. You will be working with a diverse team to support both local and national shows.
About the role:
Broadcasting and Technical Studio Equipment
Ensure the effective functioning of broadcasting and streaming equipment, both within studios as a priority and production environments, by responding to and resolving any technical malfunctions or operator issues
Ensure the preventative maintenance schedule for broadcasting and technical equipment is adhered to, in accordance with quality standards, policy and priorities
Ensure any additions or changes to infrastructure are documented clearly and accurately
Provide hardware and software support for all broadcast computer systems
Always ensure the effective operation of ARN's radio transmitter sites and transmission signals by monitoring signals and fail-safe systems
Ensure the preventative maintenance schedule is adhered to by inspecting the technical equipment and transmitter building sites, in accordance with quality standards, policy and priorities
IT Facilities and Office Equipment
Work collaboratively with the IT and infrastructure teams to ensure hardware and software support for computers to resolve user issues
About you:
Broadcast transmission equipment knowledge
Audio and visual knowledge
Excellent time and project management skills




Sound organisational skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Technical related knowledge and experience in commercial broadcasting
Enjoys exploring current and exciting technology
