About our client
Our client is part of a long-established group of powersports dealerships operating across Western Australia. With over four decades of industry presence, the business supplies and services a wide range of motorcycles, side-by-sides, ATVs, and power equipment to both retail and fleet customers. Operating under a recognised brand, the company supports industries such as mining, agriculture, and government through the provision of sales, repairs, assembly, and after-sales servicing. The Midland-based operation includes two dedicated workshops supported by factory-trained technicians, a parts interpreter, and a scheduler. Our client combines technical expertise with structured operations and a robust safety and compliance focus.
About the opportunity
This is a dynamic role where you will support customers and technicians by identifying, sourcing, and supplying the correct parts for their needs. You will manage stock, process returns, and support the service team in ensuring parts are available for scheduled jobs. You will collaborate closely with technicians, handle incoming stock, update systems, and ensure parts are available and tracked efficiently.
In this role, you will:
Deliver prompt and accurate parts interpretation and advice to customers
Support the workshop by ensuring timely parts supply and order fulfilment
Maintain optimal stock control and inventory accuracy
Uphold high standards in customer service and complaint handling
Contribute positively to team culture and process improvement
About you
You will bring experience as a parts interpreter in either the motorcycle or automotive industry, and an interest in motorcycles or motorsport. You are confident using parts catalogues and ERP systems and can communicate professionally with both customers and technicians.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and work both independently and within a team
Experience working with ERP systems
Familiarity with workshop environments
