About the opportunity
As a Fitter Operator, you'll be responsible for operating production machines and equipment as part of your daily duties, ensuring smooth production flow and adherence to safety standards. In addition, you will be maintaining, repairing and improving plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Fixed Afternoon Shift:
8hr shifts, Monday to Friday
Pay Details:
$50p/hr + shift loading + overtime
What you'll do:
Operate production machines and equipment
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
Ensure the secure and efficient operation of plant machinery and equipment as part of daily responsibilities within production operations
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Collaborate with production teams to minimise disruptions and improve efficiency
What You Will Bring:
Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Forklift license (desirable)
