is our premium dine‐in cinema experience. It combines luxury recliner seating, cutting‐edge cinema technology, and an elevated food and beverage offering to create something truly unique. As a member of our LUX Kitchen Crew, you'll play a key role in delivering the premium dining experience our guests expect, where quality, consistency and attention to detail matter every day.
The Job
HOYTS are looking for
LUX Kitchen Crew Members
who are passionate about preparing great food and delivering exceptional quality in a fast‐paced environment. This is a permanent part‐time role within our Cinema Operations Team.
On any given day, you could be:
Preparing and cooking meals from our premium LUX menu
Plating dishes to a consistently high standard
Maintaining food quality, presentation and portion consistency
Following food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures
Working collaboratively with the LUX team to ensure meals are delivered promptly
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service
Assisting with stock rotation, preparation and general kitchen duties
Helping create a premium dining experience that exceeds guest expectations

Availability & Reliability
We're seeking team members who can commit to a flexible roster, particularly during weekends, evenings, public holidays and school holidays. Regular availability during these peak periods is essential. Please be ready to share your availability when applying.

Permanent part‐time employment with guaranteed minimum hours and paid leave entitlements
Crew Members are employed on a permanent part‐time basis, giving you the opportunity to build long‐lasting connections while enjoying greater job security. A standard shift is generally a minimum of four hours, and you'll be rostered for at least eight hours per week. Your agreed part‐time hours will always be scheduled within your stated availability, and rosters are released each Friday in Australia for the week commencing the following Thursday.

Your position is classified under
Broadcasting, Recorded Entertainment and Cinemas Award
as a
Cinema Worker Level 2
. Your hourly pay rate is based on this classification and varies by age.
Candidates must have valid working rights in Australia to be considered.
