Reefstir Pty Ltd About the Role As the Food Store Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organising, directing and overseeing the overall operations of the store.
The role requires solid leadership, commercial acumen, customer service focus, and the ability to manage staff, inventory, sales performance, and operational standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the seafood retail and takeaway store. Plan and implement sales, merchandising and customer service strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
Monitor store performance and prepare reports on sales, stock levels, wastage, labour costs and operational outcomes. Maintain optimum stock levels through purchasing, inventory control, stock rotation and supplier liaison. Ensure fresh seafood and food products are displayed, handled and stored in accordance with food safety and quality standards.
Recruit, train, supervise and roster retail and food service staff. Lead, motivate and develop team members to achieve performance and customer service objectives. Manage staffing levels and labour costs to meet operational requirements.
Resolve customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally and efficiently. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, food safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate promotional activities and local marketing initiatives to increase customer engagement and sales.

margins and operational efficiency to achieve business targets. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and store appearance. Oversee cash handling, banking, point-of-sale operations and store security procedures.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Relevant qualifications in business, retail management, hospitality or a related field will be highly regarded. At least 2 years of relevant management or supervisory experience in retail, food retail, seafood, hospitality or a related environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills. Proven experience in inventory control, stock management and cost control. Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
Sound understanding of food safety, workplace health and safety, and quality assurance requirements. Strong organisational, problem-solving and time-management skills. Experience with rostering, staff training and performance management.
