About the Literacy and Numeracy unit
The Literacy and Numeracy (LN) business unit designs and delivers high quality support to schools to strengthen consistency in the implementation of evidence-based Literacy and Numeracy teaching practice through curriculum. The Teaching and Learning Support (TLS) directorate enables schools, teachers and the system to support all learners to effectively and equitably access and engage with the curriculum to reach their potential. TLS develops and delivers evidence-based professional learning,



resources and advice to schools to enable the provision of an outstanding education for every learner .
About the position
The Literacy Advisor - K-6 provides evidence-based resources, high quality advice and support related to literacy improvement through the curriculum in K-6 schools.
A requirement of the position is the ability to travel to inner and outer suburban and regional locations as needed.
