About Victoria Barracks Clinic
Victoria Barracks Clinic Melbourne is located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD at Southbank on St Kilda Road.
Victoria Barracks is the headquarters of Victoria and Tasmania Defence and has a large portion of senior Defence members.
Services include primary medical, nursing, physiotherapy, dental and pharmaceutical services to units within the Barracks and the inner Melbourne area.
Standard operating hours are generally 07:*******:30 Monday - Friday (depending on role requirements).
This role is a part time every Wednesday's & Thursday's (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
What you'll do




Deliver high-qualitymental healthcare to Defence members
Conductingfitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.
Undertaking assessments,interventions,managing medications,formulating treatment and care plansfor individuals and groupeducation sessions
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environmentwhere patientwellness is paramount
What you bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as aRegistered Nurse
One of the following:
ACMHNcredentialed
Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
Mental Health trained nurse /UKtrained undergraduate Mental Health Nurse
Minimum two years'PostRN general registrationexperiencewithinlast five yearsinmental health withinaPrimary HealthcareSettingor Specialist Mental Health Setting
Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' and 'Psychological Therapy' asperMedicare Schedule
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian CitizenshiprequiredtoobtainBaseline Security Clearance
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
