About the Role
We're seeking dedicated Female Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team in Ryde.
In this role, you'll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home.
They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community.
You'll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver active support aligned with each client's goals and support plan.
Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing).
Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans.
Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport.
Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records.
Work collaboratively within a close-knit team.
Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines.
Who We're Looking For




Willing to work active night & sleepover shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles.
Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient.
Experienced in disability support (preferred).
Experience with working with challenging behaviour and behavioural plans.
Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable).
