About the role
Join Engineers Australia as an Events Coordinator and help deliver engaging professional development experiences for Australia's engineering community.
You'll support the planning and delivery of CPD events, conferences, education products and industry partnerships, working with internal teams and external stakeholders to create meaningful learning experiences for members, volunteers and broader audiences.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating events, building relationships and contributing to work that supports engineers to connect, learn and grow.
This is a hybrid role requiring attendance in the office three days per week and working from home two days per week.
The position requires flexibility to accommodate occasional early starts, evening work, and domestic travel as needed to support business requirements.

In this role you will:
Build strong relationships across Engineers Australia, including Member and Customer, Marketing, Digital & Technology, Member Services and Finance teams.
Work closely with office bearers, volunteers, members and external partners to support the planning and delivery of CPD events across Australia.
Coordinate with the Conference and Events, Customer Experience and Professional Development teams to deliver engaging, high-quality event experiences.
Support the planning, scheduling and delivery of relevant professional development content for members and broader audiences.
Help maintain best-practice event standards, processes and procedures to ensure smooth delivery and excellent customer service.
Support key internal and high-profile events, including EA Board meetings and events for the CEO, President and Governance team.
Here's what we're looking for – you will:
Bring experience in event coordination, service delivery and event operations across virtual and in-person formats.
Confidently manage multiple projects at once while maintaining quality, timelines and strong attention to detail.
Build trusted relationships and credibility with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Work effectively with volunteers, partners and cross-functional teams to deliver successful events.
Thrive in a customer-focused, collaborative and motivated environment, with a solid commitment to creating value and impact.
