About The Role

As a Data Communications Technician,



you'll play a key role in delivering communications and network infrastructure projects across commercial, government and critical infrastructure environments throughout Adelaide.

Working alongside experienced electrical and communications professionals, you'll be involved in the installation, testing and commissioning of a range of structured cabling and communications systems while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Installation, termination and testing of structured cabling systemsFibre optic, coaxial and communications infrastructure worksTesting, fault finding and commissioning of communications networksReading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsWorking collaboratively to deliver projects safely and on scheduleSupervising small work crews when requiredMaintaining compliance with company, client and industry standardsSupporting delivery across commercial, government, defence and critical infrastructure projects

What We're Looking For

You are a motivated communications qualified who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and enjoys working in a team environment.

Essential Experience & Skills





Experience installing and testing communications and structured cabling systemsStrong understanding of commercial communications infrastructureAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and fault-finding skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentationCommitment to workplace safety and quality standardsAvailability to work both day and night shifts

Highly Regarded

Previous experience on defence, government or critical infrastructure projectsExperience supervising small crews or acting as Leading HandRetail project experienceAustralia Defence Force NV1 Security ClearanceAustralian Citizenship
