About Us
DASH Symons is a Gold Coast-based security and electrical contractor providing installation and maintenance services across South East Queensland and Northern NSW. We specialise in CCTV, alarms, access control, intercoms, gate automation, networking and electrical solutions for commercial, body corporate and residential clients.
Due to continued growth, we're looking for a motivated Casual Trades Assistant to join our team.
About the Role
This is an entry-level position, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the security and electrical industry.
The role is casual, with the potential for up to 5 days per week depending on our workload, and offers the opportunity to progress into a full-time position for the right person.
You'll work alongside our experienced technicians, assisting with a variety of tasks both onsite and in our warehouse.
Duties include:
Assisting technicians onsite
Loading and unloading equipment and materials
General warehouse organisation and housekeeping
Deliveries and collection of parts and equipment
Assisting with installations where required
Other general tasks to support our security and electrical teams
About You
We're looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and eager to learn. Previous experience in the industry isn't essential—we value attitude and work ethic above all else.
To be successful, you'll have:
A current driver's licence
Your own reliable vehicle
A Construction White Card
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good communication skills
The ability to work as part of a team
A strong work ethic and pride in your work
