The role
As a Sales Representative & Merchandiser at Quality Food World, you will be responsible for driving sales growth,building strong relationships & merchandising stock with key customers across your assigned territory. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your sales expertise, industry knowledge & merch skills to expand market share, achieve sales targets, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
What you'll be doing
Identify and negotiate sales opportunities & Establish and create current business opportunities
• Follow run schedule of current customers to take orders, build strong relationships, increase product ranging and sales
• Sell through promotions and adhere to a calendar for group promotions
• Manage and oversee the entire QFW portfolio within the independent trade in your territory
Assist in the launching of new products to market
• Merchandise & Implement displays & tidy shelf arrangement
• Ensure stock levels are maintained, replenished effectively to meet customer demand
• Oversee the overall layout and design of the store, maximizing the placement of product categories and displays
• Coordinate, and install signage, to highlight specific products or seasonal promotions.
• Collaborate & Effectively communicate with other store staff, including shelf fillers and managers, to ensure displays are properly maintained and stock levels are managed effectively.
What we're looking for
Success in sales or business development as a sales or territory manager preferably within the food industry
Success achieving or exceeding sales targets
Fine negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different stakeholders
Proficient in using sales software & customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Attention to details for proficient merchandising
Willingness to travel within your assigned territory to meet with customers.
