About the Role
As Chief Information Officer, you will provide executive leadership across technology, cyber security, digital transformation, infrastructure, facilities technology and fleet asset management. You will work closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to ensure secure, reliable and innovative systems that support organisational growth, service excellence and operational efficiency across Cairns and remote Far North Queensland communities.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement RAATSIC's technology strategy, governance framework and IT roadmap.
• Lead cyber security, infrastructure, business continuity and risk management initiatives.
• Oversee Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, networking and enterprise technology environments.




• Drive digital transformation, automation and AI readiness across the organisation.
• Manage technology budgets, procurement, vendor relationships and contract performance.
• Provide executive reporting on technology performance, strategic projects and organisational risks.
About You
• Significant senior leadership experience in information technology and digital services.
• Expertise in cyber security, infrastructure, cloud technologies and technology governance.
• Strong strategic planning, financial management and vendor management capability.
• Experience leading digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
• Commitment to culturally secure leadership and community-focused service delivery.
