We are seeking a reliable, hands‐on Trade Assistant to support our warehouse and factory operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic and the ability to adapt across a variety of tasks within the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
General stock handling and inventory support
Protected movement of materials throughout the warehouse and factory
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workspace
Forklift Operations
Loading and unloading vehicles
Moving stock and materials around the facility
Operating forklifts safely in accordance with site procedures
Workshop & Trade Support
Assisting trades and production teams with:
Cutting steel using bandsaws or cold saws
Drilling, punching and basic fabrication prep
Grinding, deburring and general workshop finishing
Surface and paint preparation
Following safe operating procedures for all tools and equipment
About You
Current LF forklift licence
Experience in warehouse, manufacturing or trade environments
Physically capable and safety‐focused
Able to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team
Willing to take on additional duties to support productivity as required
