Jungheinrich Australia Pty Ltd About the Role: Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of IT services across our Australian business. In this important hands-on role, you will lead the local IT team, provide essential first-level support to end users, and manage key IT projects.
The main focus of the IT Coordinator is on the client environment, with the network & server environment being centrally managed. You will collaborate closely with our Central IT team in Hamburg to seek second level support, ensure corporate compliance and drive company-wide initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining a secure, compliant, and customer-oriented IT environment that supports the strategic goals of the company.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the efficient operation of the customer service desk and manage issue resolution. Provide first-level IT support to local end users, ensuring seamless operations and minimal disruption. Act as the key point of contact for IT escalations, business support, and project management.
Partner with Central IT teams to execute global IT projects and initiatives. Ensure adherence to IT security protocols, compliance guidelines, and corporate IT policies. Manage hardware procurement, onboarding, offboarding, and IT budgets.
Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and terms for IT services. Lead and develop the local IT team while promoting effective communication between local and central IT functions. Manage IT tools and software (Microsoft Office 365, SCCM, MS Active Directory, etc.) and maintain compliance with ITIL standards.
Create and implement IT policies, procedures, and risk management strategies to support business continuity.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in ICT At least 3 years full time work experience in IT operations and service delivery within a corporate environment.
Technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, SCCM, Office 365, Windows *****, and more. Leadership experience, including team management and project delivery. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and support external service providers. A deep understanding of IT security protocols and change management processes. Experience with IT service management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Valuemation (training will be provided).
