The Opportunity: Civil Construction Apprenticeship
We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as an apprentice in
Civil Construction Plant Operations
(Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations - RII*****). This is a full-time, hands-on apprenticeship with a minimum of 38 hours per week.
As a valued apprentice, you will gain practical experience and comprehensive training to kickstart your career in the civil construction industry!
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate measurements and calculations for project needs.
Safely operate heavy machinery, including backhoes, loaders, and excavators.
Read and interpret plans, job specifications, and collaborate with the team.
Conduct manual excavations and operate small plant equipment.
Identify and locate underground services on construction sites.
Safely dispose of non-toxic materials according to industry standards.




Operate rollers and compact materials efficiently and safely.
Assist with general physical labour tasks on-site as required.
About You:
A genuine passion for civil construction and a desire to learn.
A commitment to completing a 36-month apprenticeship program.
Possess a valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
Able to work overtime as needed and adapt to a energetic work environment.
Physically fit and able to perform the physical demands of the role.
Hold, or be willing to obtain, a White Card for construction site safety.
A roller and/or skid steer ticket would be a bonus (but not essential).
