About the Opportunity:
As the Workshop Fitter at out state of the art Visy's Beverage Can Plant in Yatala, you will play a key role in keeping our production operations running reliably. You'll use your mechanical expertise to support equipment performance, contribute to continuous improvement, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing environment.
Shift Details:
Day Shift, Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
Pay Details
: $50p/hr + OT
What you will do:
Repairing, fabricating and modifying mechanical components for machines and equipment and tooling
Performing preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
Troubleshooting mechanical issues and support root cause analysis
Reporting and inventory management
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support seamless operations
Contributing to continuous improvement and process optimisation
What you will bring to the team:
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to read technical drawings and follow maintenance schedules
Familiarity with safety standards and a proactive safety mindset
