About the Role
Complete Ute And Van Hire is a local family owned Commercial Vehicle rental car company in Adelaide seeking a Customer Service & Fleet Coordinator to join our small, close-knit team. This is a shared role, rotating with two other staff members, combining customer-facing service with hands-on fleet coordination.

You'll be involved in assisting customers at the counter, coordinating vehicles, and ensuring our fleet is presented to a high standard and ready for hire. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and being involved in both customers and cars.

Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly, professional customer service at the counter and over the phone
Process bookings, rentals, returns, and vehicle handovers




Conduct vehicle checks, explain rental terms, and resolve customer queries
Coordinate daily fleet availability alongside other rostered staff
Monitor vehicle condition, cleanliness, and readiness for hire
Arrange servicing, repairs, inspections, and vehicle movements as required
Assist with managing damage reports, incidents, and insurance documentation
Maintain accurate records for fleet and rental activities
Work collaboratively with two other staff members to share fleet and service duties
Contribute ideas to improve customer experience and fleet efficiency
Skills & Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in customer service, rental operations, or fleet/automotive roles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Organised, reliable, and able to juggle multiple tasks
Comfortable working on a rotating roster, including some weekends
Hands-on approach and willingness to assist where needed
Basic computer skills (Emails, Customer records, Excel and Word)
Current Australian driver's licence, ability to drive manual transmission (essential)
Desirable (Not Essential)
Previous experience in automotive-related roles
Familiarity with vehicle inspections or damage assessment
Experience working in a small business environment
