The Workshop undertakes a range of tasks to manage Macmahon's fleet of mobile equipment, as well as maintenance projects for external clients. The workshop is undercover and houses the rebuild workshop, quarantine, sandblast and paint shop, component workshop and warehouse store.
Our maintenance teams take pride in keeping our sites operating safely and efficiently. You'll work with skilled people, who look out for each other and take pride in doing the job right. Together, we keep our fleet safe and reliable.
About the Role
You will work alongside qualified HD fitters, to maintain heavy mining equipment. Their primary duties involve preparing work areas, handling tools, and performing essential safety and clean-up tasks.

Responsibilities
Assist the component rebuild mechanics primarily Hydraulic Cylinders
Parts runs
General day to day house keeping
Weekly/monthly inspections
Identify and perform minor repairs on workshop equipment & schedule major work
Correction of workshop hazards
Operate the forklift
Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance
Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing
Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work

Current unrestricted C Class MANUAL Australian Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
